The hotel is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter, just 5 minutes’ walk from Las Ramblas, the Cathedral, Boqueria Market, Placa Reial and the Town Hall. The nearest metro station (Liceu) is 5 minutes’ walk away.

Though a brand new property, finished in Summer 2007, the Avinyo Hotel none the less retains the traditional spirit of the old town area, being built on the site of Roman ruins. Spacious and decorated in cool white tones, the lobby offers a generous seating area. Also featuring contemporary white décor, the 83 guestrooms are stylish yet functional. They are clean and well maintained, as are the en suite bathrooms. Family rooms available, but some single rooms do not have windows. The hotel offers a Continental buffet every morning in its welcoming breakfast room.
