The room was small and the beds were rock hard making sleeping very difficult. The bathroom was adequate and acceptably clean. Noisy at night especially at the weekend.
Top Tip
Do not eat or drink on the Ramblas as the prices have gone very expensive.

We stayed in the Hotel for 3 nights. We could not sleep because a generator or exterior air conditioner unit was running for most of the night. We would not stay in this hotel again even if they gave us a free holiday.

Location, location, location. Just across the road from Gaudi's Guell Palace and one minute's walk to La Rambla. We had a room at the front of the hotel with a small balcony - excellent except for the noise from the revellers on the street below - which went on 'til about 5 am. Very happy with our stay.

The streets outside were VERY noisy, increasing in volume to 3:30 am. I am sure that rooms not overlooking the road were quieter. Apart from that we were very pleased with the hotel and staff.

We were disappointed with this hotel. The staff were fairly offhand, the rooms tiny and not very well appointed and the breakfasts left much to be desired. After such a wonderful experince at the Britania in Lisbon we were disappointed. The rooms were poorly cleaned, daily.
Top Tip
Barcelona is an exciting and vibrant city with a plethora of things to do. Gaudi, Picasso and Miro a "must".

My friend lost her passport, and hotel sent us to police station which was good, but we should have been informed that we needed to go to the british consulate as well and we nearly missed their opening hours, which would have been very difficult for us!
