First class hotel situated in a prime position.We arrived at 11.45am but couldnt access our room until sometime between 2.00/3.00pm as it wasnot ready.We were however able to change/store our luggage and use the safe in reception so not too much of a problem but had we been able to access room straight away then the above ratings would have been 5 throughout.The buffet breakfast was varied and plentiful but for us a touch on the cool side as we prefer our cooked breakfasts hot.
Top Tip
Plenty of things to see and do plus a variety of restaurants so for us this added up to a very lovely mini break in a good well located hotel in a beautiful city!
One point to make though is to ensure that there are no public hols if you want to spend alot of time shopping.We arrived Sat afternoon and departed Tuesday after breakfast.The shops were closed Sunday but also Monday as it was a fiesta day.

do not go to this hotel the staff are rude and the rooms are filthy dirty as far as i am concerned this is not a 4 star hotel it's a 2 star.
Verry upsetting experience for me and my familly. But the location and actuall Barcelona was great.

Fabulous location,great bathroom, room a little small for 3 people but adequate. Didn't like knock on door at about 8.30 with a cleaner waving a mop although didn't do any cleaning until after 10!Hotel restaurant expensive and starchy so didn't use. Good central base for all attractions.
Top Tip
Friendly restaurant next door, taxi rank and cashpoint very near too. Would recommend getting Bus Touristic day passes which are available everywhere.

On monday morning 13th April the waiter controlling the customers going for breakfast held people back for some time, albeit the restaurant was far from full, plenty of food available and the food areas were far from congested. When a different waiter was on duty the matter was not repeated.

The room was obviously a standard room. Simple furniture but adequate.
Top Tip
Avoid local restaurants on the Ramblas and in the Fuzo - an absolute rip off!! 500 metres further it costs half the price and tastes twice as good!

Fantastic location right on La Ramblas, but hotel services were a disaster, we asked for the air conditioning to be turned on and they wouldn't. Also bar staff very rude towards us,
