Our Review

Arguably one of the best hotels in Barcelona, the 1898 often outperforms five star hotels. In the few years it has been open, it has managed to build an excellent reputation. Its location on the Ramblas is ideal, and there is good range of facilities (rooftop pool and spa). The hotel facilities are so opulent some guests may never want to leave the hotel!

The hotel is ideally located in the heart of Las Ramblas: the place to be in Barcelona, just a short walk from both the port and Plaza Catalunya. Great location to base yourself whether shopping or sightseeing. Some customers have reported, "superb location" near to metro stations and mentioned that it's worth getting a 10 journey ticket.

     right in the centre of "La Rambla", ...             Top location ...             Fabulous location...             good position...             A good central location...             Great location right on the Rambla...             H1898 is very central for sightseeing, restaurants etc ...             excellent location...             You cannot be more central,...             in a great location....             The hotel is well situated being half way down the Ramblas....             The hotel is well situated to be able to walk to everything around the Ramblas....             in a fantastic location on Las Ramblas...             A great central, lively location...             in a great location...             La Rambla is an excellent base for exploring Barcelona....
