  • Well located, one minute's walk from the Ramblas.
  • Front facing rooms may have a terrace but they can be noisy.
  • Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable.
  • Level of overall service from staff is pretty average.

Our Review

A busy, functional 3-star hotel located towards the bottom end of the Ramblas. Rooms are a fairly generous size for Barcelona and quite a few have terraces. The Gaudi Hotel receives many customers through personal recommendations and word of mouth. It's one of the most popular 3-star properties in the city centre.

Hotel Facilities:

Breakfast Room ... Breakfast is served from 07:30 until 11:00 in a large bright breakfast room. It comprises a hot and cold buffet (i.e. cereals, cheese, fruit, juices, croissants, sausage, eggs etc).

Car Parking ... Private parking is available within the hotel building for approximately €15 per day.

Gym ... This is a large gym by Barcelona standards (approx. 8m x 10m) with a wooden floor and a full wall mirror. However there are only 4 or 5 machines (bicycle, rowing, jogging and latimuss) supplemented by step boards and a tape deck. The key is available from reception.

Meeting Room ... This is approximately 4m x 9m and can accommodate up to 30 people.

     only thing we found disappointing was the fact that we had to pay for the key to use the safe in the room...             The lifts are very small and very slow;...             bar service very poor ...             Bar shut too early 11.00...             secure underground parking was essential for me and my party because we traveled on motorcycles ...             Although the facilities listed a restaurant, there was not one. ...             parking!...
