Our Review

City centre location on a secluded square in the Gothic Quarter, just a couple of minutes' walk to the Ramblas or port. Rooms are a good size, modern, well furnished, clean and comfortable. There is a lack of facilities, so it's not going to be top of its category, but this is normally reflected in a lower price at most times of year.

The Duc de Medinaceli Hotel is a new 4 star hotel located in the Gothic Quarter and very close to the port. The hotel is housed in the old Palace of the Dukes of Medinaceli. There are 44 rooms with standard facilities and amenities.

     basic hotel but clean...              Breakfast was quite good...             very clean...             breakfast could be better ...             no internet...             Qaint, central and modern....             overall very good,...             Breakfast the same every day...             Warm food at breakfast was cold...             all around a nice hotel...             great hotel...             This is a true City hotel ...             The breakfast buffet was acceptable at a minimum level but was quite poor. ...             New boutique hotel ...             Hot buffet was cold ...             Breakfast poor considering supposed to be 4 star...
